The story follows Mika, a maid in a fantasy world threatened by corruption, abyssal creatures and forces powerful enough to destroy entire cities.
There are legendary swordsmen.

Warriors capable of facing monsters.

She has a broom.
Unfortunately for the monsters, she takes cleaning very seriously.
What If Saving the World Was Just Another Cleaning Job?
Mika doesn't see herself as a hero.
She is a maid.
Her job is simple: keep things clean, organized and functioning properly.
The problem is that the world around her has become increasingly difficult to clean.
Corruption spreads through the land.
Abysses threaten entire regions.
Creatures emerge that should not exist.
Ancient systems continue operating even though nobody fully understands how they work.
To everyone else, these are existential threats.
To Mika, they are mostly different forms of mess.
And messes exist to be cleaned.

Theo can stand between his friends and things that should probably kill him.
And Liam, a scholar obsessed with understanding the strange systems beneath their world, increasingly suspects that reality may not work the way everyone believes it does.
Then there is Mika.

Somehow, that keeps becoming everyone's most effective strategy.
