PROJECT OVERVIEW

For a special Father's Day edition, Arequipe Alpina launched a collection of packaging designs celebrating the unique bond between parents and children.

The campaign featured a series of illustrations inspired by relationships found throughout the animal kingdom, using tenderness, care and inheritance as visual metaphors for fatherhood.

Created by Colombian illustrator Juan "Ru.Rulo" Salazar, the artwork transformed everyday packaging into an emotional storytelling platform capable of connecting with audiences on a personal level.

Madness Studio collaborated on the project by helping elevate and showcase the artwork through visual development, creative production and digital execution

The objective was to create a Father's Day campaign capable of generating emotional engagement while standing out in a highly competitive retail environment.

Rather than relying on traditional promotional messaging, the campaign sought to build an authentic emotional connection through illustration, storytelling and artistic craftsmanship.

At the same time, the project aimed to maximize visibility by leveraging the influence and audience of the featured artist.

THE SOLUTION

The campaign centered around original illustrations created by Juan "Ru.Rulo" Salazar, inspired by his personal relationship with his grandfather.

Each artwork portrayed meaningful moments between parents and children through animal characters, creating universal stories of protection, learning and affection.

Madness Studio contributed to the visual execution and presentation of the project, helping transform the illustrations into a cohesive campaign experience.
