The Feria de las Flores is one of Colombia's most beloved cultural celebrations, bringing together generations through color, tradition and community.

For this campaign, Alpina sought to honor the people who keep this tradition alive year after year, celebrating the cultural heritage and human stories behind one of Medellín's most iconic events.

To achieve this, the campaign combined handcrafted watercolor illustrations by Colombian artist Valeria Montoya with advanced CGI production techniques, creating a visual language that felt both timeless and contemporary.

Rather than replacing the handcrafted nature of the artwork, the objective was to enhance it through CGI while preserving its organic character and cultural identity.

Madness developed the entire campaign in 3D, translating the original illustrations into immersive visual compositions while maintaining the artistic essence of the watercolor work.

Every flower, character and visual element was carefully reconstructed in CGI, allowing the campaign to expand beyond static illustration while preserving the emotional qualities that made the artwork unique.

The result was a visual experience that blended traditional art and digital craftsmanship into a single cohesive world.

At a time when much of the creative industry is exploring artificial intelligence and automated image generation, this project followed a different path.

The foundation of the campaign was entirely handcrafted.

Every illustration was originally painted by Colombian artist Valeria Montoya using traditional watercolor techniques, bringing a level of personality, texture and human expression that can only emerge through artistic craftsmanship.

Madness then translated these hand-painted works into a CGI environment, carefully preserving their organic qualities while expanding them into immersive three-dimensional compositions.

The result was a collaboration between traditional art and digital technology, demonstrating that innovation does not replace craftsmanship—it can elevate it.

For the Feria de las Flores, Alpina invited audiences to experience one of Colombia's most beloved traditions through a different perspective.

Developed in collaboration with the creative talent of Fundación La Casa de Carlota Medellín, the campaign celebrated diversity, creativity and the unique ways in which people experience and interpret the world around them.

Madness transformed the original illustrations into a vibrant 3D universe, carefully preserving their personality, warmth and artistic expression while expanding them into immersive digital environments.

The project combined handcrafted creativity with CGI production, resulting in a colorful visual experience that honored both the cultural heritage of the Feria de las Flores and the value of seeing the world through different eyes.

More than a campaign, it became a celebration of inclusion, creativity and the power of storytelling to connect people through art.
